How to get to Oliva

By air
Valencia and Alicante airports are each around one hour’s drive away from the house.

Alicante Airport (El Altet) is around 60 miles (100km) away from Oliva. Many British airports have flights here. Airlines serving the city include BMIbaby (from Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Belfast, Cardiff and East Midlands), easyJet (various airports), Jet2 (Leeds/Bradford), and Monarch (Luton and Manchester.)
 

Valencia Airport (Manises) is about 45 miles (75km) away from Oliva. Easyjet flies here from various British airports. Thomson Fly has flights from Coventry. BA flies from Heathrow.

By road
Valencia and Alicante are both connected to Oliva by a toll motorway - the A7.

By train from Valencia
There is a half-hourly train service from Valencia to Gandia, which is four miles away from Oliva. These trains take about 50 minutes and cost less than a fiver. Gandia is a short hop to Oliva by bus or taxi (there is a cab rank outside Gandia station.)

By coach from Alicante
There is a coach from Alicante to Oliva. The three hour journey passes through a host of interesting towns.
